This is slightly of topic, but I thought that it was rather interesting and thought you might find it interesting as well. I came across a link to the Spyware Warrior blog on Boing Boing. It's a blog that focuses on the anti-spyware software industry and the legal attacks that it faces from all points on the technology compass. From software companies who claim that anti-spyware software violates their freedom of speech to companies who claim that their products are being unnecessarily categorized as spyware, thus being blocked..

3. My business is running "Adsubtract", Norton "antivirus", and Spybot Search and Destroy". It is updated daily. However, i continue to get the blank:blank website when i go online and there are other applications running in the background (i removed everything from my start menu). It seems like whatever spyware/adware program i buy/run doesn't remove all of the crap out there. Does anyone know where i can go to get information on how to manually check for problems (in my registery?) or how i can get my computers completely rid of trojans and highjackers, etc. thank you very much!

1. Spywarewarrior provides valuable information. People can read about most known spyware removal applications on the net: who is legitimate and who is not and decide to buy it or not.
But sometimes they overreact. They are not authority or the law, they need follow Facts only. This they do a bit bad by trying to Ban people who has different opinions.
but Overall its still recomended site.
In adition I'd like to reccomend:
www.kephyr.com - provides free spyware detection tool called bazooka. With its
help you can remove parasites manually.
www.2-spyware.com - provides manual
and automatic removal of spyware, adware, worms, dialers, hijackers and other
parasites.
