Sing a song of spam

This little ditty comes to us from Greg from group blog Begging to Differ.  In a recent post Greg ponders…

Lately I've been thinking about spam email. It seems over the last year or so, spam has become more and more odd. No doubt this has something to do with spammers trying to figure out ways to fool automated spam filters. I've seen spam with random words thrown together, and even strangely poetic verse. Sometimes the language in these emails ends up sounding downright artsy.

And that got me thinking. If I took several examples and mixed them in with selections from alt-rock lyrics, would people be able to tell them apart? Hence, the quiz below.

Here's an excerpt from the quiz, see if you can figure out which is spam then check out the rest of the quiz over at Begging to Differ.

1. natural splits sunburn jets price marks smart bets strikers luck pitch backs heap tips pit slacks
2. should in fact potatoes straddles rockery of hairy mythic mental dung-heap flurry over shot lasagna breeds in a hollow shoe the mincemeat seeds for you
3. to eat the world's due by the grave and thee presently my soul grew stronger hesitating then no longer be sure your self and your own reach to know
