The lawsuit between "King of Spam" Scott Richter and SpamCop has been settled.
The lawsuit, filed by Richter after SpamCop reported to Richter's ISP and others that complaints had been received
about email sent by Richter's OptInRealBig, was filed in Federal court earlier this year, with the Court denying
Richter's request for an injunction in April.
While most of the terms of the settlement are unknown, and, indeed, confidential, it is known that neither SpamCop nor
SpamKing will be required to change any of their practices.
